This is an Amazon flavor mix. The aromatic and spicy blend of the jiquitaia pepper matches perfectly with the exotic taste of the acai fruit. 

We created our hot sauces for those who love  flavor, without that ultra burning sensation.

Jiquitaia Pepper

Jiquitaia comes from the Rio Negro (Black River) basin, in Amazon, and is, in fact, a blend of peppers of the Capsicum species. They are harvested by the Baniwa women, sun-dried, pounded and mixed with salt in the Baniwa Pepper Houses. The Baniwa tribe is millenary and their agricultural system used in this cultivation was declared a Brazil's Cultural Patrimony, by IPHAN.
